Here’s a bit about us, who we are, what we do and what we’re about.
We’re an independent family run business. What’s important to us is to provide our guests a great experience at Y Stablau of a modern village inn, one that understands and reflects it’s surroundings.
We love the place we live in and strive to echo that in all that we do. We come to work every day because we want to deliver our guests great food and drink in a comfortable, relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Whilst shouting about the fantastic local produce the area has to offer.
There’s a reason we’ve all heard this story before. It’s a good story, a story about family and growth and commitment to the local community. We’re on the ground floor every day talking to our team and our guests. Making sure we’re listening to what people want and connecting with local suppliers and makers. Delivering you new products and diverse produce that’s emerging on the market locally. Which in turn helps create a sustainable future for all of us living and working here in Snowdonia.
It’s a really exciting time to be in North Wales and we’re thrilled to be a part the continued and growing success story of the Snowdonia experience.
Our newest additions includes ale from the Wild Horse Brewing Company who use our lovely Snowdonian water to brew up their local mash. Our beer of choice on tap at the moment is Buckskin Blonde – an American Blonde Ale with a European twist!
You’ll also see the world-famous Halen Mon which features regularly on our specials menu. Check out their about us page -it’s a fascinating journey and it all started with some oysters!
Of course we wouldn’t be who we are without the village that surrounds us.
We’re privileged to be able to support and be a part of local community events that are held every year. Especially at Nadolig Llawen yn Betws-y-Coed Christmas. A community run event which brings a magical winter wonderland to the village during the first weekend in December. Continuing right up until Christmas Day and beyond with one off festive events being held across the village. You can find out more on Nadolig’s Facebook page.
