Can I book a Table?

There’s no need 😄

Just pop along and we’ll do our best to seat you as soon as we can! We’ve lots of outdoor seating on our terrace area which has been designed with social distancing in mind and we’ve added screens both inside and out. We’ll need to take your contact name and details for NHS Track, Trace & Protect Cymru on arrival and check temperatures to keep everyone safe.

What should I expect when I visit?

Your TakeAway Pick-up experience may look a little different, but we hope it will feel the same; ultimately, it will still be our people caring for you and delivering the same attention to detail and personalised hospitality that you are used to at Y Stablau. We want to reassure you that we’ve put extra measures in place to keep you and our teams safe in this new normal. We’ve got one way systems, screening, social distancing markers and a Covid Aware Monitor on shift to ensure best practice is being maintained.

Will I need to wear a face covering? 

As of 14th September 2020 it became mandatory in Wales that anyone in an indoor public area must wear a face covering, unless exempt or under 11 years of age. This does not apply whilst you are seated at your allocated table but does apply when you get up to leave/use the bathrooms/walk to along a corridor.

What else is open in Betws-y-Coed?

Attractions in Wales were allowed to re-open from the 6th of July so there’s plenty to do in the area. Please remember that most activities and attractions will be operating on a pre-bookable time slot only.

Our local shops opened with a phased approach from the 6th of July when travel restrictions were lifted here in Wales  – so there’s plenty of retail therapy available and our fellow local businesses are welcoming people back with some new and innovatve ideas!

What have your team been doing?

We were in regular touch with our team members during lockdown. Ensuring they were kept informed and updated with any new developments. All team members have to undertake a Covid Aware Certificate Module accredited by the Institute of Hospitality before returning to the workplace. As well as for your safety, our teams welfare and heightened knowledge is of paramount importance to our business.

How will I know if any changes are made?

As we hear the latest Government directives, we’ll update our websites and let you know via our social media channels.

What extra cleaning is taking place?

As a business with restaurants, hotels and bars, we already operate with strict cleaning and health and safety measures, but we will now be taking extra steps to ensure that all areas are thoroughly sanitised, clean and compliant.

• All team members will be trained in these new standards and timings of cleaning.

• We provide hand sanitiser on staff and supplier entry points

• We are working with the AA and their Covid-19 Safe Scheme

• We have implemented enhanced cleaning in corridors and at all touch points.

• We have issued team members with additional PPE to keep both them and you safe.

• Were taking everyone’s temperature before they enter the building to keep you and our teams safe.

What about social distancing?

When you order via Click & Collect you’ll be able to schedule a time for pickup. We’re limiting pick up times and people on site to a minimum to avoid any long queues. We’re also asking all our guests to use their common sense and be responsible for their own social distancing during their visit and when moving around the site. And we’ll be looking for additional ideas and listening to any further comments you may have.

What type of changes will I expect to see in your businesses?

We’re implementing one way systems, clear screens at till point areas, looking at non touch entry arrival, updating information packs to be viewed online, contactless payment systems, app ordering, and temperature checks to name but a few.

When will I be able to stay at the Lodge?

We are taking lodge bookings from Monday 13th July onwards, but please be aware that this is conditional and subject to change by Welsh Assembly Government.

Initially, we do expect that the phone lines will be busy and our Reservations team will be doing their best to respond to all enquiries as soon as they can, but we do suggest that where possible you make your hotel booking on our online system
